Acupuncture for Smoking Cessation

If you are ready to stop smoking, acupuncture may be the help you are looking for.  While it's not a magic cure, it can help you manage the cravings and keep you calm while you go through the withdrawal process.

The program uses acupuncture, dietary and lifestyle recommendations, and gentle herbs.  Everyone is an individual so it's difficult to predict how long the process will take for you.  The recommended frequency is 2 times per week for the first 2-3 weeks to give you the maximum support as you begin.  Then we taper it down to once a week.  Although there have been some who quit smoking after just one or two treatments, for many smokers it can take 1-3 months.  Give yourself the time you need to go through this process.  Think about how long you have been smoking!   Remember that it's important to give your body and mind a reasonable amount of time to detox and re-learn how to live smoke-free.

You may stop smoking right away, or it may take more time.  Because this is the case, there is no obligation to commit to a specific number of sessions.  Smoking cessation acupuncture is $50 per visit.
